This year the Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill is once again joining forces with the Montgomery Environmental Commission for an Earth Day Festival. The day will start with the Run With Rotary, followed by an Earth Day Fair including environmental booths, recycling collection, school sponsored science fair & art show, and more.
Congratulations to the Dance Factory for having the largest team for 2019 of 118 members. OneNationUnited was second and Ahn's Taekwondo third.
THANK YOU to all our runners, walkers, sponsors and volunteers. Run With Rotary was once again a success! The goal of the Run is not only to provide a fun, active day for the community, but also to raise funds for Rotary charities. With YOUR help we have met our fundraiging goal.
Click on the SPONSOR tab above to see all the businesses and individuals who supported the Rotary Club of Montgomery/Rocky Hill's Run With Royary. 2019 Sponsors were heard saying, “I picked up several new clients and reached a community which helped spread the word about our business. I had 60 comments online within 24 hours.” A first-timer to the Run said, “The Run With Rotary was one of the best organized events we have ever attended.”
With Rotary’s lofty goals to “End Hunger, Illiteracy, Addiction and Polio...In Our Community and Around the World” the all volunteer Montgomery Rocky Hill Rotary Club gives this money to a variety of projects from the local food bank to international water projects. This year the Sapphire sponsor funds and the proceeds from the 50/50 will be put directly towards completing the purchase of a replacement mobile soup kitchen and disaster unit for S.H.I.P. (Samaritan Homeless Interim Project) in Somerville which provides food as well as advocacy for the homeless in central Jersey, and responds to disaster sites as needed.
Runner, Walkers, Sponsors and Volunteers can take pride in their support of these important projects. THANK YOU! ...and we hope to see you next year.
